The unique facade details of Dwight School
Breaking away from the conventional design norms of typical schools to set a new standard for the future, Dwight School serves as a launching pad for a spirit of creative freedom. The innovation stems not only from the distinctive approach of renowned architect Carlos Zapata (known for iconic buildings like Bitexco Tower, JW Marriott Hanoi, etc.) but also from the intricacies of the high-complexity facade details.
The tilted facade, in line with Dwight School's avant-garde architecture, is a strong brand identifier and a technical challenge in facade engineering. BM WINDOWS utilized a combination of strip-stick systems at various angled corners to create a seamless transition effect. Additionally, BM WINDOWS delicately handled large aluminum-glass sections combined with cladding panels, introducing uniqueness and diversity in the shaping of curves, intersections, and volumes within the structure.
Balancing strength with flexibility amidst a myriad of high-rise projects, Bitexco's development stands as a distinctive mark of modern urban architecture.
